Baby Update

First, here's the travel system we got. We decided to go with something neutral in case we have a boy in the future.... We love it!

Only a few more weeks! I can't believe it's just around the corner. Thank goodness because I am tired of being so swollen. Sunday my feet were huge, not to mention my poor cankles. Trina was nice enough to rub them for me. It's nice to have sisters who know what I'm going through--though even they didn't have feet as swollen as mine. I went to the doctor on Monday for my 34 week check up. The baby's heart rate was 162. I told her about my extreme swelling and she said to go to the hospital if it got really bad again and if I had a severe headache. Luckily, neither of those have happened. I was measuring a little small so I was sent in for another ultrasound to check the baby's size. Everything looked good and normal; she is just a little small (which I am totally okay with). The perinatologist said she was in the 38th percentile. The last ultrasound we had she was in the 51st percentile so her growth has slowed a little bit, but nothing to be concerned about. Oh, I also found out from the doctor that I'll most likely be induced around 39 weeks--yay!

A friend from high school started a custom clothing business and she made this onesie for us. We got it in the mail the other day...it is so cute!

That a nice travel system! Good choice!

I love Avery for a name! I am so excited for you. I am sure you are probably already doing this, but just in case...drinking A LOT of water helps prevent swelling or at least a lot of it. I know it sounds counter productive. You want less fluid to retain right? Well...if you load up on fluids your body will tell itself to stop retaining so much of it. Just a thought. Having more trips to the bathroom is the only bummer about this method. :)

That is nice to have your sister close!

why don't you ever put pictures up of you and your belly???? i'm jealous of your travel system, we've been getting everything from my sisters and aunt so we have quite a bit we are still need to get. hows living in arizona? what do you do now that you don't have school? are you working?

no jobs yet... nate has been searching every day since we've been down here... about 5 weeks now, and hasn't heard back from any of them. so it's a little stressful at the moment. we are living in his parents closet of their tiny apartment till we can earn some money. soooo has your belly button popped out yet? mine is getting kinda tight, so i hope it pops out, i think it would be fun.
